About NYISF

The New York Insurance Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (NYISF) is a 501(c)3 public charity affiliated with the New York Insurance Association, Inc. The sole purpose of NYISF is to support the education of students pursuing a degree in risk management or insurance in New York State in an effort to ensure the viability of the industry.

Selection Criteria

  • A person matriculated in an accredited college or university as a candidate for a baccalaureate or advanced degree.
  • Scholastic standing.
  • Desire to work in the insurance industry.
  • Community involvement/volunteer work.
  • Not receiving or eligible for full reimbursement for the expenses of tuition, board, books, etc. from an outside source.
